The Siren that lies within PuzzleQuest
It's so tempting. It beckons...that little blinking hint marker on the battle grid of PuzzleQuest DS.
You pause, examining the board before you, debating whether or not to accept the invitation. Your will becomes broken and you give in. You take the advice of your electronic muse and swap the highlighted gem, awaiting the glorious bounty about to rain down upon you from the heavens.
Then comes the PAIN.
I can't tell you how many times I've been suckered into taking the hinted move, only to be subsequently beaten down by a cascade of enemy skull matches and 4-of-a-kind extra turns.
I think it KNOWS. It draws you in, earns your trust. Then it laughs at you as you follow the hint, while that 2-headed Ogre brings down the hammer on his 13th straight extra turn and grinds you into dust.
