The Future of Flash and PDF?

OK, so the updated MM acquisition FAQ is making the rounds.

"Our long-term plan is to develop a 'universal client' by combining PDF, Flash and HTML in a single, integrated runtime."

I'm a little confused. I already have a 'universal client', one that is capable of combining PDF, Flash and HTML, along with streaming video, audio, scripting languages and XML. I use it every day. I'm using it right now. It's called a "browser."

I'm curious to see how this story develops...
